The Okuma Tesoro LDJ Jigging Reel, honored with the 2024 iF Design Award, is expertly crafted for jigging, with every detail tailored for strength, braking precision, and functionality.
Designed for comfort, ergonomic design for index finger and thumb and power handle help anglers exert force effectively, reducing hand fatigue during extended fishing. The Full Range Linear Drag Curve Design offers precise, stable braking adjustments, enhancing control and ease of use.
Enhanced with Flite Drive™ technology, the traditional lever drag—often tight when turning under heavy braking—now reduces turning resistance by over 50% compared to CAVALLA, greatly easing the load during reeling.
Offered in sizes 1500 to 2000, its compact body and large line capacity allow for deeper fishing with a smaller, lighter reel, making it ideal for both inshore and offshore environments.

Technology
COLD FORGED, MACHINED ALUMINUM SPOOL, FRAME AND SIDE PLATE
Okuma”s Machined Rigid Frame construction incorporates a one-piece fully-machined aluminum frame. These rigid bar-stock aluminum frames are the ultimate in precision alignment & tolerances withstanding more pressure & torque than any other material used in our industry for frame materials. Okuma features these anodized frames on fly reels, baitcast reels, lever drag reels & star drag trolling reels.
STAINLESS STEEL GEAR (XL GEAR)
The XL gearing design found on both lever drag & star drag reels incorporates an oversized gear box that features an enlarged gearing system & enlarged drag system. The drag surface areas on this system are more than 50% larger than a standard gear-box design. For the gear system, the major advantage is that the gear teeth are substantially larger, allowing more strength & cranking power. This is how we are able to offer a high-speed gear ratio reel without sacrificing cranking power. Our XL gearing system essentially turns your reel into a winch.
TRIPLE ANTI-REVERSE SYSTEM TWO ONE-WAY BEARING AND ONE DOG PAWL
Triple anti-reversal systems not only provide a very small gap, but also greatly enhance the strength.
FLITE DRIVE™ SUPER LIGHT ROTATION PRESSURE UNDER HEAVY DUTY
Through FLITE DRIVE™ technology, the rotation resistance is lighter under heavy load. Compared with the previous CAVALLA, it is more than 55% lighter.
